<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device with high reliability that can prevent printing quality from being reduced due to drain and a useful life of an electromagnetic valve from being reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device includes a compressor 17, an air tank 16 for storing compressed air, first piping 14a connecting the compressor 17 and the air tank 16, an injection nozzle 13 for spraying the compressed air to a piece of sheet 6 supplied from a fixing nip part 9 of a heating roller 11 and a pressurizing roller 12, second piping 14b for connecting the air tank 16 and the injection nozzle 13, and an electromagnetic valve 15 for injecting the compressed air provided in a middle of the second piping 14b. A drain separator 22 for separating a drain from the compressed air is provided in one of the first piping 14a and the second piping 14b between the air tank 16 and the electromagnetic valve 15 for injecting the compressed air, and a first drain discharging piping 23 extending from the drain separator 22 and a second drain discharging piping 24 extending from a bottom of the air tank 16 are joined together such that an electromagnetic valve 25 for drain discharge is provided in a joining area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
