<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus comprising a connector capable of inputting a time code signal and an external synchronization signal (such as Genlock signal). <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises one connector (111) and determination means (108) which determines whether an input signal input to the connector is the time code signal or the external synchronization signal. When the input signal input to the connector is the time code signal, the imaging apparatus invalidates a second terminal resistance (206) smaller than a first terminal resistance (201).
