<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire visual inspection method and a visual inspection device for removing an area periodically formed on a tire surface from a pickup image in the visual inspection of a tire. <P>SOLUTION: This tire visual inspection method includes: a step of detecting a specific shape periodically appearing in the pickup image of a tire surface picked up along a tire circumferential direction from the pickup image; a step of creating a mask image by using the specific shape as a removal object shape; and a step of rotating the mask image so that the mask image can be matched with the specific shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
