<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal reproduction device and a signal reproduction method. <P>SOLUTION: The signal reproduction device includes a reproduction head for scanning a recording medium over a plurality of tracks to acquire a superimposed reproduction signal, a partial response filter for receiving a plurality of superimposed reproduction signals and extracting a reproduction signal of each track from the plurality of superimposed reproduction signals, a bit decoding part for decoding the reproduction signal extracted by the partial response filter into a bit string, a replica generating part for generating a replica of an interference signal for the reproduction signal of each track on the basis of a decoding result by the bit decoding part, and an interference canceler for subtracting the replica of the interference signal generated by the replica generating part from the plurality of superimposed reproduction signals. The partial response filter re-extracts the reproduction signal of each track from the plurality of superimposed reproduction signals after the subtraction by the interference canceler. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
