PURPOSE: A cable gland is provided to prevent the leak of LNG, which can be generated as cables are installed on the cargo tank of an LNG ship. CONSTITUTION: A cable gland(100) comprises a gland housing(110), a packing(120), a gland body(130), and a tube(140). The gland housing is penetrated by a cable, and an opening is formed on the end of the gland housing. The packing is accepted in the gland housing to surround the cable. The gland body is inserted into the gland housing through the opening to press the packing and is coupled to the gland housing. The cable passes through the gland body. The tube is extended from the end of the gland body and the cable is held in the tube. |
