<p>A terrain visualisation device is disclosed, the device comprising a mounting structure adapted to be fixed to a snowmobile. The device also includes a light emitting unit attached to the mounting structure and configured to project a predetermined contrast pattern onto terrain when the mounting structure is fixed to the snowmobile. Also disclosed is a snowmobile comprising the terrain visualisation device, and a method for driving a snowmobile across terrain comprising projecting a predetermined contrast pattern onto the terrain using a light emitting unit, so that the topography of the terrain can be determined from distortion of the contrast pattern.</p> |
