PURPOSE: A method for providing broadcast preference information and a device thereof are provided to process information about a real time broadcast of SNS data and supply the processed information to a user. CONSTITUTION: A device provides a keyword for broadcast channel identification to a social networking service server(S121). The device requests the SNS server to search information related to broadcast channels. The device obtains the information related to the broadcast channels from the SNS server(S122). The device extracts at least one broadcast preference information(S123). The device provides at least one broadcast preference information(S124).
