摘要 In order to provide a resin film manufacturing method that is capable of producing resin films that have a sufficiently uniform optical value, even if the resin film is stretched in the width direction, and that minimize the generation of foreign matter, a resin film manufacturing method involving smooth holding members is used, wherein: both edges of an elongated resin film are held by a plurality of holding members in the width direction of the resin film, and said holding members move in the longitudinal direction of the resin film, and also move in a direction in which, among the holding members, the distance between a plurality of first holding parts that holds one edge of the resin film of the resin film, and a plurality of second holding parts that holds the other edge of the resin film gradually widens in the width direction of the resin film; and when the plurality of holding members used on such occasion holds the resin film, the total value of the maximum height (Ry), at normal temperature, of a first contact surface that comes into contact with one surface of the resin film, and of a second contact surface that comes into contact with the other surface of the film is 1 µm to 24 µm.
