<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a part mounting device that is adaptable to various recognition targets and satisfy requirements for compactness by reducing the occupied space thereof, and illumination device and method for imaging in the part mounting device. <P>SOLUTION: In a part mounting device for executing a part mounting work on a substrate 3, when the substrate 3 is irradiated with illumination light during imaging of a substrate recognition camera 12, the illumination light is emitted from a light emitting panel 15 which is constructed by laminating a light source part 13 and a color liquid crystal panel 14 and has plural regularly-arranged light emitting parts whose light emission states can be individually varied. During the light illumination, the color tone of the illumination light emitted from each light emitting part and the color tone distribution of the illumination light on the light emitting panel 15 are varied in accordance with an imaging target. Accordingly, imaging can be performed under proper illumination conditions which are adaptable to various recognition targets, and the occupied space of the device of an illuminating unit 20 can be reduced, so that the requirements for compactness can be satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
