<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting unit with extraction efficiency of fluorescent light improved, and to provide a projector capable of projecting bright images. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting unit 64 is provided with a fluorescent wheel 71 equipped with a fluorescent light-emitting part in a base material, and a light source 72 for irradiating excitation light on the fluorescent light-emitting part of the fluorescent wheel 71. A fluorescent layer 131 for emitting the light of a given wavelength band to a surface side is formed at the fluorescent light-emitting part with receipt of the excitation light from the light source 72, a short-pass filter 132 for transmitting the light from the light source 72 and reflecting the fluorescent light is fitted to an excitation light irradiation side in the fluorescent layer 131, and a long-pass filter 133 for transmitting the fluorescent light and reflecting light from the light source 72 is fitted to a fluorescent light irradiation side in the fluorescent layer 131, and furthermore, an incident direction of the light from the light source 72 irradiated on the fluorescent light-emitting part through the short-pass filter 132, and an irradiation direction of the fluorescent light irradiated from the fluorescent light-emitting part through the long-pass filter 133 are to be different from each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
