<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key cylinder arrangement structure for a motorcycle, capable of preventing sticking of foreign objects such as moisture or mud to a key cylinder or the surrounding approaching during the unlocking operation of the key cylinder. <P>SOLUTION: The key cylinder arrangement structure for a motorcycle 1 includes a rear fender 64 for covering the upper part of a real wheel 13, a pair of right and left rail covers 53 for partitioning a housing room 66 above the rear fender 64, a locking mechanism for locking an occupant seat 61 for fellow passengers closing the housing room 66, and a key cylinder 68 disposed inside the rail cover 53 to cause the locking mechanism to unlock. The rail cover 53 includes a rear wall 53a having a wall surface extended upward to the rear side of a vehicle body frame 2 to face the rear wheel 13, and a front wall 53b bent from the front end of the rear wall 53a to extend toward the front of the vehicle body frame 2 and having an insertion hole 72 bored for a key 71 inserted into the key cylinder 68. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
