<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct digital synthesizer capable of generating highly accurate high frequency signals and an electronic device using it. <P>SOLUTION: A direct digital synthesizer 1 includes: a storage part 5 for storing table information 5a indicating correspondence between a phase value and a given signal waveform value; N pieces of digital waveform generation parts 2-1 to 2-N for respectively generating N (N≥2) pieces of digital waveform signals 2x-1 to 2x-N which are synchronized with a reference clock signal 7 and phase-shifted by a fixed value each by referring to the table information 5a and reading corresponding signal waveform values while changing a phase value for every cycle of the reference clock signal 7; a selection part 3 for selecting one digital waveform signal in order from the N pieces of digital waveform signals for every 1/N cycle of the reference clock signal 7; and a D/A conversion part 4 for converting the digital waveform signal selected by the selection part 3 to an analog waveform signal for every 1/N cycle of the reference clock signal 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
