<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna device that controls a radiation pattern to suppress the correlation between two antenna elements, and to provide a wireless communication device having the same. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna device has: a substrate that has first and second power feeding parts, and that is made of a dielectric body; a ground that has first and second sides having different lengths from each other and extending in different directions, and that is provided to the substrate; a first antenna element connected to the first power feeding part and that uses a first wavelength; a second antenna element connected to the second power feeding part and that uses a second wavelength; and a passive element to which no power is fed, and that is connected to the ground. Each one-fourth of the first and second wavelengths approximates to the length of the first side rather than the length of the second side. An interval between the passive element and the second power feeding part is one-fourth of the second wavelength or less. The passive element and the first side are not parallel to each other.
