PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of calculation of a signal processor that estimates three-dimensional information from the two-dimensional angle information of a target by using range parameterized extention Kalman filters.
SOLUTION: When the three-dimensional information of a target is estimated from the two-dimensional angle information of the target and the position information of a two-dimensional angle sensor, a determination is made whether the two-dimensional angle information is a real target, erroneous alarm, or the like. If the determination is made that it is a real target, estimation processing for the three-dimensional information of the target is started, thereby restraining unnecessary arithmetic processing performed by the range parameterized extention Kalman filters with respect to information other than the real target. In addition, the approximate distance of the target is estimated, and the estimation processing using the range parameterized extention Kalman filters is preformed on condition that a distance range as estimation target is limited. Thereby, without deteriorating estimation accuracy, the number of extension Kalman filters operated in parallel is decreased to reduce the amount of calculation.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
