<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel support system for supporting traveling by effectively establishing vehicle-vehicle communication with a support of road-side apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An on-vehicle apparatus 110 comprises: a car navigation apparatus 112 that generates travel information of a subject vehicle; subject address-storing memory 113 that stores the address of the subject; and correspondent party address-storing memory 114 that stores the address of a correspondent party to which the travel information is transmitted. A road-side apparatus 210 has a transmission position determination function 212 that determines a transmission position of travel information from the on-vehicle apparatus 110. Further, a system performs: reading travel information and address of the on-vehicle apparatus 110 by means of road-vehicle communication; writing, to the on-vehicle apparatus 110, transmission position information and an address of a correspondent party determined by the transmission position determination function 212; and causing the on-vehicle apparatus 110 to transmit a piece of travel information of the subject vehicle to the address of the correspondent party via vehicle-vehicle communication when arriving at a transmission point written by the road-side apparatus 210. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
