<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an excessive input of a signal in an LINC device by a simple structure with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A signal amplification device 1 has: a signal generator 10 that divides an input signal Sin to generate a plurality of divided signals Sa and Sb having a predetermined amplitude and different phases from each other; a plurality of amplifiers 20a and 20b that amplify the plurality of divided signals respectively using FETs(Field Effect Transistor); transmission lines 30a and 30b where the signals amplified by the respective amplifiers pass, and that have different lengths from each other, and that does not have isolation between terminals; and a detector 40 that compares gate currents input to the respective amplifiers to detect whether or not an excessive input of the divided signal that means the excess of a saturation state in any of amplifiers occurs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
