<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent excessive clamping force from being applied to an article with a simple structure in a transfer system clamping the article by a clamp unit which advances and retracts. <P>SOLUTION: The transfer system 29 transfers a cargo W to and from a cargo storage rack 11. The transfer system 29 is provided with a first base member 51a, a second base member 51b, a first arm 53a, a second arm 53b, and a transfer control unit. The first arm 53a and the second arm 53b are respectively arranged on the first base member 51a and the second base member 51b so that they can advance to the cargo storage rack 11 and can retract while holding the cargo W in a clamping manner. The transfer control unit widens the distance between the first arm 53a and the second arm 53b according to the distance of the retraction when the first arm 53a and the second arm 53b retract from the cargo storage rack 11 in a state of holding the cargo W in a clamping manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
