<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring apparatus which can check that a crushing roller does not normally rotate. <P>SOLUTION: A vertical mill 10 includes a body 1 used as a vertical container, a crushing table 14, two or more crushing rollers 2, a plunger 3 and a vibration controlling damper device 4. Coal is charged into the body 1 and is crushed by cooperation of the crushing table 14 and the crushing roller 2. The plunger 3 applies force for crushing coal. The vibration controlling damper device 4 suppresses amplitude of self-excited vibration generated in the crushing roller 2. The monitoring apparatus 9 includes a vibrometer 91 and a monitoring panel 90. The vibrometer 91 measures an amplitude value of the vibration controlling damper device 4. Data of the amplitude value of the vibrometer 91 are input in the monitoring panel 90. It can be determined that the crushing roller 2 does not normally rotate by largely decreasing in the data of amplitude value of the vibrometer 91 when the crushing roller 2 does not normally rotate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
