<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diverging device which appropriately sets an arm turning speed irrespective of a form or layout of an article which is conveyed on a path by a conveyor. <P>SOLUTION: The diverging device 9 includes: a rotary shaft 13 disposed on the side opposite to a diverging path 7 with respect to a route 5; an arm 19 extending in a radial direction of the rotary shaft 13; pushers 23 and 24 supported rotatably to the arm 19 via a spindle 21; a drive means 25 for turning the arm 19 around the rotary shaft 13; and an attitude maintaining means 27 for maintaining an attitude of the pusher 23. The drive means 25 pauses the turning of the arm 19 at a position where the pusher 23 is retreated from the diverging path 7. When an article 3 conveyed on a conveyor faces the pusher 23, the drive means 25 turns the arm 19 in a direction of advancing the pusher 23 to the diverging path 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
