A liner for incontinence (1) is provided with a skin contact side sheet (4), a skin noncontact side sheet, and an absorbent body (6) disposed between the skin contact side sheet and the skin noncontact side sheet and comprising an absorbent material. The absorbent material comprises 30-70 by mass percent of a superabsorbent polymer (SAP). The liner comprises a main body (2) and wings (3) that are folded to overlap a middle region (2I) when the liner is worn in order to affix the liner to an article of clothing. The SAP basis weight of the middle portion (6I) is greater than the SAP basis weight of the front portion (6F) and the SAP basis weight of the rear portion (6R). The main body (2) comprises a front gather region (11F) positioned between the middle region (2I) and a front region (2F) and directly forward of the urination position (UP) of a wearer when the liner is worn; lateral gather regions (11S) that extend from the middle region (2I) to both the front region (2F) and a rear region (2R); and rear gather regions (11R) that extend substantially in the width direction in the rear region (2R). The absorbent material (6) is continuous in the gather regions. |
