<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onion processing machine for arranging onions in a second posture on a second conveying means. <P>SOLUTION: The onion processing machine 1 includes a first conveying means 3 for setting onions T in a posture with the roots thereof downward while conveying the onions T. A second conveying means 4, which sets the onions T in a posture with the roots thereof upward while conveying the onions T, is arranged downstream of the first conveying means 3. A holding and conveying means 5 is arranged so as to be located over from the first conveying means 3 to the second conveying means 4. The holding and conveying means 5 receives the onions T in the posture with the roots downward from the first conveying means 3, holds and conveys the received onions T, and passes the onions T to the second conveying means 4 while keeping the posture with the roots downward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
