<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic motor which includes a stator having laminating structure of magnetic steel sheets and is excellent in cooling performance. <P>SOLUTION: An electric motor includes: a cylindrical stator 1 formed by laminating multiple magnetic steel sheets 10 and a cylindrical casing 2 housing the stator 1. The multiple magnetic steel sheets 10 form space parts 104, 107 at an outer peripheral part. The space parts 104, 107 of the adjacent magnetic steel sheets 10, out of the multiple magnetic steel sheets 10, are formed so as to partially overlap with each other.
