<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment apparatus, which can be made to be compact by simplifying the carrying mechanism at the corner parts. <P>SOLUTION: The surface treatment apparatus has: carrier fixtures 30 holding workpieces 20; a circulation carrier passage 100 through which the circulation carrier fixtures are circularly carried; and a surface treatment tank 200 provided at the circulation carrier passage 100. The circulation carrier passage has: first and second straight line carrier passages 110, 120; and first and second rolling devices 130, 140 horizontally rolling the carrier fixtures and delivering them between the edge part of the first straight line carrier passage and the edge part of the second straight line carrier passage. The respective first and second rolling devices have: two rolling rails 131, 132 and two rolling rails 141, 142; and rolling driving parts 510 to 514 intermittently rolling and driving the rolling rails supporting the carrier fixtures and the rolling rails in empty conditions every 180° in one body. The respective rolling rails of the first and second rolling devices are arranged on one straight line with each one corresponding to four guide rails 234, 235, 242, 243 respectively arranged at the edge parts of the first and second straight line carrier passages at the stop positions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
