<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional technique in which it is difficult to accelerate reading while suppressing increase in power consumption and deterioration in image quality. <P>SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion device comprises: signal processing units which are provided corresponding to the columns of a pixel array and which include at least a plurality of A/D conversion units for converting signals output from pixels to digital signals; output unit having two or more output terminals and including a plurality of output blocks provided corresponding to the respective output terminals; and a synchronization signal generation unit which outputs synchronization signals. Signal processing units of columns adjacent to each other or of every other columns are set to be each block, the output blocks outputting signals output from the signal processing units belonging to the block. The photoelectric conversion device further comprises a synchronization code addition unit which adds a synchronization code to a signal output from the output block, in synchronization with a synchronization signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
