PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signal separation circuit with which, by actualizing the optical discrete Fourier transform mainly by a slab star coupler, the number of channels U does not need to be 2 to the power of an integer, and the optical circuit size can be kept compact even if the number of channels U increases.
SOLUTION: The optical discrete Fourier transform is actualized mainly by a slab star coupler. Accordingly, the optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signal separation circuit can be operated with an arbitrary number of channels, and keep the optical circuit size compact even if the number of channels increases.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
