<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary atomizing head which can be disassembled for cleaning and can also change the color thereof by internal cleaning without being disassembled. <P>SOLUTION: A mechanism component 4 comprises: a side wall 12 which extends rearward from the outer circumferential edge of a front wall 10 constituting a hub portion and continues in the circumferential direction; a plurality of legs 14 having a pawl 14a; and a bottom portion 18 which continues from the rear end of the side wall 12. The mechanism component 4 is detachably mounted in a central recess portion 6 of an atomizing head body 2. A spoon-cut groove 34 is formed on the bottom portion 18 of the mechanism component 4. A peripheral wall 8 of the central recess portion 6 of the atomizing head body 2 is formed of an inclined wall. An outer circumferential surface 12a of the side wall 12 of the mechanism component 4 is also inclined corresponding to the inclination of the peripheral wall 8.
