<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device that has an idle stop function and can start a vehicle without causing time lag even if the vehicle mounted with a belt type continuously variable transmission has not been started for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic control device determines that an engine is brought into an activation start state on condition that an ignition switch has been turned from an off-state to an on-state and the engine has reached rotation speed enabling autonomous rotation. The electronic control device permits an automatic stop by the idle stop function on condition that after the engine has started activation, even if that oil temperature in a hydraulic supply circuit is a permissible oil temperature or above (condition 1) is not satisfied, the vehicle has run for a predetermined period or more at a predetermined speed or more after the start of activation or the vehicle assumes a state satisfying running for a predetermined distance or more (condition 2), and the vehicle assumes a state satisfying an engine stop general condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
