<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of suppressing the toner concentration variation in a developing unit by decreasing the difference between a toner amount to be supplied and an actually supplied toner amount, to hold an excellent image formation despite the variation of the toner supply capability of a toner supply part. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device drives a toner supply motor by a predetermined amount to supply toner to a developing unit (step S6) while stirring the toner for a predetermined time (step S7), followed by acquisition of a toner concentration detection value (step S9). Based on a toner concentration variation value which is the difference between the toner concentration detection value (step S9) and a toner concentration detection value before the toner supply, a toner supply coefficient is acquired for conversion of the magnitude of the toner concentration variation to a drive amount of the toner supply motor (step S12). According to the acquired toner supply coefficient, the image forming device determines, when supplying toner next time, a drive amount of the toner supply motor to supply a toner amount to be supplied to the developing unit, to drive the toner supply motor by the determined drive amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
