<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof case having a packing structure in which an opening having an opening edge bent in an arc shape at corner parts of the opening can be water-tightly sealed by a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: A waterproof case comprises a case body 30, a cover member 40, and a lip packing 60 having a U-shaped cross section, and being formed to be annular in a state that the open side of the U-shape faces outward. The cover member 40 includes a cover body 43 for covering an accommodation space, and a series of packing support surfaces 50 which are disposed inside the case body 30 and face an internal surface of the case body 30 at a specific interval from the internal surface, at a closing position for covering the accommodation space. Projections 56 for narrowing the interval are formed at corner portions of the packing support surfaces 50. When the cover member 40 is fixed to the closing position, a tip end side of the lip packing arranged on the inner side of the case body 30 is pressed to an entire circumference of the internal surface of the case body 30 and the pressing force is increased at the corner portions, thereby allowing the inside of the case body 30 to be water-tightly sealed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
