<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic power factor adjuster capable of optimumly auto-tuning a control parameter such as a target power factor according to the state of a load. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic power factor adjuster includes: a past PQ history database which accumulates time series data of estimated effective power and reactive power of a load as past PQ history data; a control parameter database which preserves a plurality of sets of control parameters; a simulation part which sequentially takes out control parameter sets having been preserved, and simulates a state of local power distribution system of a power consumer using the accumulated past PQ history data set of control parameter; and an optimum control parameter selecting part which calculates an economical merit of a power consumer for each set of control parameter by using an economical contract between the power consumer and the power company, to select a set of control parameter whose economical merit is highest. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
