<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper device which can be easily attached to an attachment object having a different shape. <P>SOLUTION: A wiper motor 27 disposed on the wiper device includes: a motor body 30; and a speed-reduction mechanism which reduces the speed of rotation of the motor body 30 to transmits the speed-reduced rotation to an output shaft; wherein the speed-reduction mechanism is housed in a gear housing 35. On the side surface of the gear housing 35, a holder part 51, which is opened on the shaft-directional base end side of the output shaft, is integrally formed. An attachment member 52 is fitted from the opening side of the holder part 51, the attachment member 52 is retained on the holder part 51, and by inserting the attachment member 52 into an insertion hole formed on a motor side vehicle body panel, the wiper motor 27 is attached to the motor side vehicle body panel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
