<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can effectively reduce power consumption during stand-by without degrading user convenience or having excessive memory. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device includes: multiple DRAMs 21a-21h; a CPU 11 which controls the DRAMs 21a-21h; and a power supply control unit 23 which partitions the DRAMs 21a-21h into partitions D1-D4 with a predetermined unit and controls on and off of power supply to the DRAMs 21a-21h for each of the partitions D1-D4 according to the condition of how the CPU 11 controls the DRAMs 21a-21h. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
