<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new polymer gel producible simply under ordinary temperature and normal pressure from an inexpensive material without using a special device, and usable preferably as an adsorbent to heavy metal ion, phosphate ion or the like, and to provide a method for producing the polymer gel. <P>SOLUTION: In this polymer gel, polymer materials having a plurality of hydroxy groups are crosslinked by a reaction of hydroxy groups of the polymer material having a plurality of hydroxy groups with boric acid groups of a compound having two or more boric acid groups in a molecule, and the boric acid group of a compound having a capturing part of heavy metal ion in a molecule, and having one boric acid group and/or a compound having a capturing part of phosphate ion in a molecule, and having one boric acid group is bonded to at least one hydroxy group of the polymer material having the plurality of hydroxy groups. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
