<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content receiver that reduces the processing load of error correction processing on the content receiver when recording packet data as content data. <P>SOLUTION: The content receiver includes: a first storage section for storing received content data; a data processing section for applying error correction processing to the content data stored in the first storage section or skipping error correction processing of the content data stored in the first storage section to leave error correction information as it is, before outputting the content data; and a second storage section for storing the content data output from the data processing section. When a processing load on the content receiver is higher than a preset processing load threshold, the content data stored in the first storage section is output with the error correction information left as it is in the absence of error correction processing, and the output content data is stored in the second storage section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
