<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an organic EL device in which reliability, and the like, are improved by reducing such a phenomenon that ink tail adheres to a region other than a target region when droplets are discharged while moving a droplet discharge head. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing an organic EL device includes: a step for forming, on a substrate 10, a partition wall 8 which surrounds and includes, in plan view, at least a part of an pixel electrode 29 and a non-light-emitting region 7, i.e. a region contiguous to the pixel electrode in the Y direction; and a step for discharging functional fluid containing an emission function layer forming material to a function layer forming region 5, i.e. a region surrounded by the partition wall 8, while moving a droplet discharge head 41 and the substrate 10 relatively in the Y direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
