<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of closing oil flowing out from a steel pipe for sucking crude oil or natural gas installed in the sea when the steel pipe is broken. <P>SOLUTION: When the oil well steel pipe 4 in the deep sea is broken in the sea, a long-length insertion pipe 6 made of a non-magnetic material such as a synthetic resin or the like, which has a diameter of about a half of that of the steel pipe 4 and has a net-like circular plate 8 suspended at its distal end, is inserted from a hole 5 at a broken part of the steel pipe 4 to a prescribed depth and made to stand still, then magnet grains or the like whose diameter is several millimeters to several tens of millimeters are loosely scattered and dropped from an upper port 7 of the insertion pipe 6, stuck to an inner surface of the steel pipe 4 near the net-like circular plate 8 at the distal end of the insertion pipe 6 by magnetic force and bonded with each other to be a lump, and thus springing-out of the crude oil is suppressed. Then, concrete is injected from the upper port 7 of the insertion pipe 6 and hardened to close the springing-out of petroleum or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
