An electrical connector readily bringing a connecting member into good surface contact with an electrode member when joining the members is realized. A connecting member (50) has: a planar joint part (51) coming into surface contact with a joint surface (80a) of an electrode material (80); bridging parts (52) extending in opposite directions along a predetermined extending direction (Y) with the joint part (51) therebetween; and supported parts provided at ends of both of the bridging parts (52) opposite to the joint part (51). A supporting member (60) is disposed at least on both sides of the joint part (51) in the extending direction (Y) with a space from the joint part (51) and formed to integrally support the supported parts on both sides of the joint part (51).
