The drying apparatus includes a receptacle (9) storing a desiccant through which the refrigerant flows. The receptacle further stores an acid-binding agent such as hydrogen fluoride, aluminum oxide, calcium carbonate or ion exchanger such as zeolite. The desiccant receptacle is mounted inside a refrigerant accumulator (3) and between a vaporizer and an inner heat exchanger.
