The capacitive contact- and/or proximity-switch comprises: a cover plate (10), in and/or on which a contact field (14) is defined for an user; a support plate (12), which is arranged in a distance to the cover plate; a light source, which is arranged on and/or at the support plate; an electrically conductive sensor element (16), which is arranged between the contact field of the cover plate and the support plate; and an electrically conductive contact portion, which is connected with an electrically conductive opposite contact portion of the support plate. The capacitive contact- and/or proximity-switch comprises: a cover plate (10), in and/or on which a contact field (14) is defined for an user; a support plate (12), which is arranged in a distance to the cover plate; a light source, which is arranged on and/or at the support plate; an electrically conductive sensor element (16), which is arranged between the contact field of the cover plate and the support plate; an electrically conductive contact portion, which is connected with an electrically conductive opposite contact portion of the support plate; and a light-guiding element (32), which extends itself from the light source towards the cover plate. The sensor element is provided with a plate-shaped sensor portion (20), which is parallely arranged to the cover plate. The light-guiding element at its end portion facing towards the cover plate is formed in a convex curved manner. The sensor portion of the sensor element comprises a breakthrough, in which the convex curved end portion partially extends towards the light-guiding element. The end portion of the light-guiding element partially adjoins on an inner wall of the breakthrough of the sensor portion. A diffusing plate is arranged between the sensor portion and the contact field of the cover plate. A side facing the cover plate of the sensor portion is partially, reflectively formed. A graphic element is provided for identifying the contact- and/or proximity switch that is integrated into the diffusing plate, in which the breakthrough of the sensor portion and the contact field of the cover plate are integrated. The graphic element is arranged between the sensor portion and the diffusing plate and/or between the diffusing plate and the contact field. The sensor element comprises: a recess, which extends itself in longitudinal direction of the sensor element; and a compression spring, which is supported on the support plate and presses the sensor portion towards the cover plate. The light-guiding element is arranged into the recess of the sensor element. The compression spring of the sensor element is formed as a helical spring, and the light-guiding element coaxially passes to the compression spring.
