A method for judging the spatial affiliation of user equipment (UE) and a base station therefor. The method comprises: a base station configuring the transmitting parameters of a channel detection reference signal for user equipment, and determining a period for judging the UE affiliation; the base station calculating the measurement values of channel detection reference signals on various radio remote units; when the period for determining the UE affiliation is reached, the base station carries out a spatial affiliation determination according to the measurement values of the channel detection reference signals, so that the information about the user affiliation to the radio remote units can be acquired and updated periodically; as affiliation information is time-sensitive, the accuracy of the basis for scheduling the same is ensured.
