<p>PURPOSE: A method for increasing the heating value of blast furnace gas is provided to effectively remove carbon dioxide included in blast furnace gas by letting the blast furnace gas pass through a reaction tube filled with desulfurization slag. CONSTITUTION: A method for increasing the heating value of blast furnace gas comprises the steps of: letting blast furnace gas pass through a reaction tube(11) filled with desulfurization slag in order to remove carbon dioxide included in blast furnace gas, measuring the composition of the blast furnace gas passing through the reaction tube with a composition measuring unit(33), determining whether the CO2 content of the blast furnace gas is equal to or less than a set value through a control unit(47), and, if so, supplying blast furnace gas to fuel of a steel making line.</p> |
