<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling speaker system capable of localizing sound not only above a listener but also on lateral sides of the listener by only using a speaker system installed on a ceiling. <P>SOLUTION: A ceiling speaker system includes a direct sound generation speaker 3 and a reflection sound generation speaker 4 inside a same package 2. The reflection sound generation speaker 4 is a directional speaker directed toward a lower side wall 12 of a room 10, so as to allow the localization of a reflection sound 6 output from the reflection sound generation speaker 4 in a target area 7 of the room 10 to be lower than the localization of a direct sound 5 output from the direct sound generation speaker 3. The ceiling speaker system also includes a delay circuit 23 for delaying the direct sound 5 output from the direct sound generation speaker 3. Thus, the reflection sound 6 output from the reflection sound generation speaker 4 is allowed to reach the target area 7 faster than the direct sound 5 output from the direct sound generation speaker 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
