<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of realizing least color unevenness on a projection image caused by variation with time, etc. even when employing an illumination device including a plurality of light sources. <P>SOLUTION: A projector 1 of the present invention comprises: a first light source 9 for emitting light including a first color light; a second light source 10 for emitting light including a second color light and a third color light; a color separation part 3 for separating the incident light emitted from each of the light sources into the first color light, the second color light and the third color light; liquid crystal light bulbs 4R, 4G, 4B (a first to third light modulation elements); and a relay optical system 5 (a light transmission part) including a plurality of optical elements provided between the color separation part and the first light modulation element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
