<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide forceps for an endoscope which preferably has a smoothly movable forceps member at the distal end of the forceps. <P>SOLUTION: The forceps for an endoscope are provided with an insertion tube inserted into a body, a support member secured to a distal end of the insertion tube, a support pin provided to the support member, the forceps member rotatably supported by the support pin, a cam groove being formed on the forceps member, an operation section connected to the proximal end of the insertion tube, a forward/backward movable member configured to movable forward/backward in the axial direction inside the tube in accordance with the operation of the operation section, an insertion hole formed on the movable member, a cam pin inserted through the insertion hole and engaging with the cam grooves. The forceps member rotates about the support pin in accordance with engagement of the cam pin with the cam grooves as the forward/backward movable member moves and the cam pin is moved along the cam groove, and the cam pin is rotatably supported in the insertion hole along an axis thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
