<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system that uses a phase-locked loop employing two-point modulation. <P>SOLUTION: The phase-locked loop includes: a master oscillator 100 having an output operably connected to a first input of a phase detector 106; a slave oscillator 102 having an output operably connected to a second input of the phase detector 106; and a forward-gain-adaptation module operably connected to a raw-error terminal of the phase detector 106. The forward-gain-adaptation module comprises: a variable gain amplifier 200 of the forward-gain-adaptation module operably connected to the raw-error terminal of the phase detector 106; and an integrator 202 of the forward-gain-adaptation module operably connected to the variable gain amplifier 200 of the forward-gain-adaptation module and the slave oscillator 102. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
