<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-in-oil emulsion ink for stencil printing, wherein the emulsion ink hardly causes ink leakage during continuous printing, clogging after left unattended and the like, and is excellent in fixability and storage stability. <P>SOLUTION: The water-in-oil emulsion ink for stencil printing comprises: a water phase; and an oil phase containing an emulsifier, wherein the water phase contains: a colorant; and 0.01-0.05 mass% of a compound A represented by the following formula.
