<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of transmitting an image in accordance with a situation. <P>SOLUTION: In a photographing mode, an image signal of a part of pixels of an imaging portion 121 is read out for displaying a through-image on a display portion 123. An image for display is displayed based on the image signal which is read out. When a camera 100 is set at a transmission mode then, the image signal for display is recorded in a temporary recording portion 125. When the camera 100 is set at the transmission mode after photographing, the image signal recorded in the temporary recording portion 125 is transmitted to an external apparatus 300. When the camera 100 is set to the transmission mode in a reproduction mode, the image in a recording portion 124, which corresponds to the image that is reproduced at that time, is resized and transmitted to the external apparatus 300. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
