Provided is a method of use as a forestry material for scorching environment, wherein excessive solar energy is removed from the place where a plant is grown without being radiated onto the plant, thereby preventing drying and temperature rise of the land and plant and, as a result, making it possible to promote photosynthesis and cultivation of the plant. In order to provide this method, a forestry material for scorching environment (10) includes: a retroreflection member (1); and a fluorescent agent (2) dispersed in a transparent medium (4) composing the retroreflection member (1), wherein the fluorescent agent (2) absorbs light having a shorter wavelength than the wavelength effective for photosynthesis, and emits light effective for photosynthesis. |
