PURPOSE: An input apparatus of an automatic teller machine is provided to clearly establish a user input operation area by precisely recognizing the input by a user. CONSTITUTION: An input apparatus(100) of an automatic teller machine comprises a front panel(110), a sensor unit(120), a control unit, and an area setting member(140). The front panel is made of a transparent material. The sensor unit is arranged on a main panel which is located on the rear side of the front panel. The sensor unit detects input by a user through electrostatic capacity variations which is generated when the front panel is touched by the user. The control unit is connected to the sensor unit. The control unit executes a predetermined function of an automatic teller machine when the user input is detected. The area setting member is arranged between the main panel and the front panel. The area setting member is made of a conductive material. The area setting member transfers the electrostatic capacity variations generated on the front panel to the sensor unit. The area setting member establishes a user touch area on the front panel. |
