<p>Provided is a three-dimensional image generating apparatus (10), wherein a brightness gradient calculation unit (11) calculates a brightness gradient that indicates the amount of change in brightness between a pixel of interest and a pixel adjacent thereto, a right-eye image generating unit (12) corrects the brightness of the pixel with a correction amount having the same sign as the brightness gradient, and a left-eye image generating unit (13) corrects the brightness of the pixel with a correction amount having an opposite sign as the brightness gradient. Since, in such a way, difference in brightness distribution will arise between the left-eye image and the right-eye image, stereoscopic vision can be achieved without calculating depth information, and since positions of the pixels will not be changed, subjects will not be seen double or will not be liable to be seen double.</p> |
